Rab
Built on a cliff, along the coast, the monastery of St. Andrew defies the waves of time and sea for a millennium. The Benedictine sisters are the spiritual guardians of the city, symbolically placed on its ramparts.
About us
The first written record that testifies to the monastery's history is the inscription on the Romanesque bell tower built in 1181, and it is the oldest of the four Rab bell towers.

The Rab cake is their authentic product, which was made in 1177 on the occasion of the arrival of Pope Alexander III. on Rab. They defy modern times, so a small shop of island products, creams, tinctures, oils made from plants that they harvest themselves on the island, is located in one of the most fragrant streets on Rab.
